The Joe Louis Greenway is a 29-mile recreational pathway that will connect residents and visitors across 23 neighborhoods in Detroit, Highland Park, Hamtramck, and Dearborn through a combination of new trails, on-street protected bike lanes, and links to existing trails in Southeast Michigan.

Through ongoing collaboration, the Partnership will nurture a vibrant, inclusive, and thriving environment that meets the needs and desires of the residents while welcoming visitors to a world ­class Greenway.

Programming

With a focus on free family-friendly events the Partnership will partner with cities, cultural organizations, and other partners to provide fun and engaging events that positively represent the diverse cultures in the communities surrounding the JLG.

JLG Beautification

As your dedicated partner, the Partnership will collaborate with residents to curate and nurture captivating public spaces along the Joe Louis Greenway. Our commitment extends beyond aesthetics, encompassing functionality and environmental sustainability. Through this endeavor, we aspire to enhance the well-being of the communities along the Greenway for generations, fostering a positive and enduring impact on health and quality of life.
